Reimaging the 50's

Alongside her fellow peers Beth took part in a two day take over exhibition at St Fagans historical museum in Wales. She was giving the opportunity to display her work within the actual museum being a part of its décor. Creating a large scale digitally printed fabric, inspired by the 1955 kitchen and the terraced houses, Rhyd-y-Car. The design itself showcases observation drawings of objects found within the museum, combined digitally to create the repeating pattern. This was designed to fit in with the decor of the kitchen fully embracing the 50’s theme, using colours which were gathered from this specific location. The fabric piece was displayed placed over the drying rack in the kitchen.

Orange Box

During her time at UWTSD Beth was  fortunate enough to work with the company Orange Box with in turn led to her work being display in Clarkwell Design Week 2019.
