The interiors collection ‘Building Conversation’ was created using hand-drawn imagery which was digitally manipulated in Photoshop and later printed onto cotton satin. Beth’s goal was to create a design which provokes conversation straying away from the more traditional interior styling, embracing colour, abstract and geometrics. The piece itself utilised the combination of Swansea architecture with imagery from within the Walker Art Gallery and Tate in Liverpool, greatly influenced by their recent OP Art exhibition. Inspired by Deborah Bowness, Memphis Art and Curious Egg, she looked at artists and designers that pushed the boundaries creating bold, quirky, outgoing statement pieces something which she has embraced within her own designs.
